Different plants need different arrangements.
Size, root form and access all matter.
A parcel-sized method for suitable smaller plants.
For suitable larger loads. Consider safe access and where the delivery can be received.
A delivery arrangement used for appropriate plant sizes and loads.
Larger specimens can need additional access and unloading planning.
These explain the delivery typesβnot a delivery quote. The method and charge for your order depend on its contents and the current delivery arrangements. Check the checkout information and contact us before ordering if access is restricted.
Useful starting points for your next planting project.
Start with the format, then compare the details of the plants within it.
Hedging Plants, Units, Elements, Screens and Mixed Hedging Packs are different buying formats. Check the supplied size, root form and quantity shown for your selected option rather than assuming every format provides the same coverage.
Individual plants let you compare species and sizes. Units, elements and screens have their own supplied dimensions; read the listing for the format you need. A mixed pack has its own contents, so its pack quantity is not the same as the number of basket items.
Before ordering, compare your planting space with the listing and ask for advice if you are unsure which format fits.
Compare the hedging range βUnderstand the measurements behind standard, pleached and shaped trees.
Start with the supplied form you want: feathered, standard, multi-stem, pleached, boxhead, umbrella or palm. Different forms create different structures, even where the underlying species is the same.
Where listed, compare stem girth, clear-stem height and frame dimensions as well as overall supplied size. Check all option names when selecting a variation. Girth describes a stem measurement; it should not be read as the height of the tree.
The selected option describes what you are ordering, not a promise about its eventual unrestricted size. Mixed Tree Packs have their own recorded contents and prices.
Explore tree forms βTurn plant information into a more useful shortlist.
Start with your site's sunlight, soil moisture and drainage, then compare foliage, growth and other recorded features. Icons help you recognise an attribute; the written label explains what it means.
Read the individual product details and selected option before ordering. An empty attribute means information has not been assigned, not that a plant has the opposite characteristic. Recorded tolerances still need to be considered alongside your own planting conditions.
Wildlife labels are selection aids, not accreditation badges. Look for a named accreditation on the particular variety rather than assuming it applies to an entire collection.
