Full Description

Evergreen Tree Pack is a premium collection of mature, XXL evergreen trees selected for instant structure, year-round coverage, and long-term impact. Unlike hedging packs, this range is supplied as individual, well-established trees and sold by girth rather than height , ensuring consistent maturity, strength, and presence from day one. This pack is ideal for customers looking to create immediate screening, framework planting, or specimen avenues using reliable evergreen varieties that perform well across the UK. All trees are mature stock, typically standing 2m+ tall , making this pack particularly suited to larger gardens, estates, commercial landscapes, and development projects. Varieties included – equal split (20% each): Novita Laurel ( Prunus laurocerasus β€˜Novita’ ) – A robust, fast-establishing evergreen with broad, glossy foliage and excellent tolerance to cold, wind, and poor conditions. Portuguese Laurel ( Prunus lusitanica ) – A refined evergreen tree with smaller, darker leaves and attractive red stems, offering a more architectural, formal appearance. Elaeagnus ( Elaeagnus Γ— ebbingei ) – A tough, resilient evergreen with silvery undersides, valued for its wind resistance, adaptability, and strong year-round structure. Evergreen Magnolia ( Magnolia grandiflora ) – A statement evergreen tree with large, leathery leaves and seasonal creamy white flowers, adding both structure and ornamental value. Photinia β€˜Red Robin’ ( Photinia Γ— fraseri ) – Known for its vibrant red new growth, this evergreen provides colour contrast alongside dense screening and reliable performance.

Planting and care

Choose a position in full sun or partial shade. Keep the soil moist while allowing excess water to drain freely.

Water thoroughly after planting and check soil moisture regularly during establishment, particularly in dry or windy weather. Keep competing weeds clear and avoid piling mulch against stems.

Check the individual plants in the pack before positioning them. Match pruning and any winter protection to each supplied species; use the full plant list and substitution notes on this page.

Delivery and unpacking

On arrival, carefully remove outer packaging and check the plants against your order. Handle plants by their pot or root ball where possible, rather than pulling on stems or branches.

Check root moisture and water if needed. Until planting, keep the plants upright in a sheltered position and prevent roots from drying out. If supplied bare-root, keep the roots covered and moist and plant promptly when conditions allow.

Delivery arrangements and any charges are those confirmed for your order.

Important information

This tree mix contains cherry laurel, Portuguese laurel and photinia, whose leaves or seeds can be poisonous if eaten. Keep foliage and all pruning waste away from horses and other grazing animals. Do not let children or pets taste ornamental berries or chew cut branches.

Hardiness is a conservative estimate for the whole mix (H5), based on its least cold-hardy listed plant. Individual plants may be hardier; site, drainage and establishment affect winter survival.
