Full Description
Thoughtfully curated by our head designer each year, this collection brings complementary colours, textures and forms together in one coordinated planting scheme.
Bring gentle movement to the garden with the Harrod Natural Harmony Collection. Stipa and pennisetum grasses provide a flowing backdrop to astrantia and the airy flower stems of Verbena bonariensis, balanced by rounded pittosporum.
The result is a relaxed planting style with a clear sense of shape. It suits borders where you want grasses to catch the breeze and flowers to rise through the planting, while clipped forms hold the design together.
Plant selection
Where availability changes, suitable alternatives may be used to maintain the overall style, colour palette and planting role of the collection. The image is design inspiration rather than an exact representation of every plant supplied.
About the image
The image illustrates an established planting scheme. Plants are supplied in the sizes listed and will develop over time. Pleached trees, hard landscaping and installation are not included.
Complete the look
Add height and privacy with pleached trees, available separately.
Planting and care
Plants in this collection vary with availability. Check the light, soil, drainage, spacing and winter-protection needs of the plants supplied before positioning them. Water thoroughly after planting, then during dry spells until the plants are established. Pruning and other ongoing care should follow the requirements of each supplied species and cultivar.

Delivery and unpacking
On arrival, carefully remove outer packaging and check the plants against your order. Handle plants by their pot or root ball where possible, rather than pulling on stems or branches.
Check root moisture and water if needed. Until planting, keep the plants upright in a sheltered position and prevent roots from drying out. If supplied bare-root, keep the roots covered and moist and plant promptly when conditions allow.
Delivery arrangements and any charges are those confirmed for your order.
Important information
The Pittosporum Golf Ball in this border should not be eaten and may cause illness if swallowed. Discourage children and pets from tasting any of the planting and keep cuttings out of animal feed. Grass leaves and seedheads can also irritate mouths and eyes.
Hardiness is a conservative estimate for the whole mix (H4), based on its least cold-hardy listed plant. Individual plants may be hardier; site, drainage and establishment affect winter survival. The rating assumes the listed planting recipe; substitutions can change hardiness.
