Sweet Birch Feathered Trees - Betula Lenta

Sweet Birch (Betula lenta) is offered here as feathered trees in the sizes and root types shown below.

This is a deciduous plant, losing its leaves seasonally and producing fresh foliage in the next growing season. The bark adds another point of interest alongside the foliage.

Choosing this plant for your space

The feathered form is useful where the outline of the whole tree is part of the design. Consider nearby boundaries and planting, and choose the starting size to suit your layout.

Position and soil

Choose a position in full sun or partial shade. Well-drained soil is suitable, including soil that retains moisture while allowing excess water to drain away.

Choosing your size

The option you select determines the height supplied. Use the listed measurements to plan the quantity and spacing for your scheme before ordering.

Choose sun or partial shade and moisture-retentive, freely draining soil of moderate fertility. Sweet birch tolerates a range of soils but prefers a sheltered woodland setting.

Supplied according to the option you select for this product.

Height: as selected when ordering.
Root Type: Bare Root.

On arrival, carefully remove outer packaging and check the plants against your order. Handle plants by their pot or root ball where possible, rather than pulling on stems or branches.

Check root moisture and water if needed. Until planting, keep the plants upright in a sheltered position and prevent roots from drying out. If supplied bare-root, keep the roots covered and moist and plant promptly when conditions allow.

Larger plants and root balls can be heavy. Arrange suitable help and equipment for safe unloading and positioning.

Delivery arrangements and any charges are those confirmed for your order.
