Choose a position in full sun or partial shade. Moisture-retentive soil is suitable; do not assume this also means the plant can tolerate prolonged flooding.
Water thoroughly after planting and check soil moisture regularly during establishment, particularly in dry or windy weather. Keep competing weeds clear and avoid piling mulch against stems.
Supplied as Royal Ferns – Osmunda Regalis | P11. This is clearance stock; review the condition notes, photographs and selected option before ordering. The quantity in your order is the quantity selected at checkout.
On arrival, carefully remove outer packaging and check the plants against your order. Handle plants by their pot or root ball where possible, rather than pulling on stems or branches.
Check root moisture and water if needed. Until planting, keep the plants upright in a sheltered position and prevent roots from drying out. If supplied bare-root, keep the roots covered and moist and plant promptly when conditions allow.
Delivery arrangements and any charges are those confirmed for your order.
Royal fern is an ornamental plant and should not be eaten or made into home remedies. Keep fronds and rhizomes out of animal feed and discourage pets from chewing them. Species-specific poisoning data are limited, so its effects should not be assumed to match either edible ferns or bracken.
