For acid-loving plants
An ericaceous mix is intended for plants that need acidic conditions around their roots. It is a suitable compost choice for camellias, rhododendrons, azaleas and other plants with the same requirement. Choose it by the plant’s growing needs, rather than by whether the plant is trained as hedging, a tree or topiary.
Planting and potting
Loosen the compost before use. When repotting, water the plant first, place it into a container with drainage holes and fill around the rootball with fresh mix. Gently firm and water in. Follow the supplied bag’s directions and the individual plant’s care requirements.
Bag size and storage
The product listed here is 50 litres. Reseal unused compost and store it away from frost and garden chemicals. Westland packaging and formulations can change, so refer to the bag you receive for its exact ingredients and feeding guidance. Wear gloves and wash your hands after use.
