Choosing this plant for your space

The full standard form places the crown above a clear stem. Allow space for the crown as well as the trunk, especially beside paths, boundaries or a repeated avenue of trees.

Position and soil

Choose a sunny position. It is listed for moist soil, including sites where drainage is slower.

Choosing your size

The option you select determines the height and stem girth supplied. Use the listed measurements to plan the quantity and spacing for your scheme before ordering.

Choose a position in full sun. Moisture-retentive soil is suitable; do not assume this also means the plant can tolerate prolonged flooding.

Water thoroughly after planting and check soil moisture regularly during establishment, particularly in dry or windy weather. Keep competing weeds clear and avoid piling mulch against stems.

Supplied according to the option you select for this product.

Root Type: Pot Grown.

On arrival, carefully remove outer packaging and check the plants against your order. Handle plants by their pot or root ball where possible, rather than pulling on stems or branches.

Check root moisture and water if needed. Until planting, keep the plants upright in a sheltered position and prevent roots from drying out. If supplied bare-root, keep the roots covered and moist and plant promptly when conditions allow.

Larger plants and root balls can be heavy. Arrange suitable help and equipment for safe unloading and positioning.

Delivery arrangements and any charges are those confirmed for your order.
