At Harrods Outdoor we are passionate about great quality plants and a great quality service that provides our customers with the best possible experience. We complete multiple quality control checks on our plants, testing that the soil quality is up to our standard, the plants are free from disease and have succeeded our thorough phytosanitary checks. Our detailed checks then help us provide the healthiest products to you and our tried and tested delivery packaging protects the products, so they arrive to our customers at the same great quality they left our nursery in. However, we understand that very occasionally there may be an error with the order.
If you are not 100% satisfied with your order then please contact us immediately via email, contact@harrodsoutdoor.com, or telephone, 01603 327269, and we shall do our best to resolve the issue.
All plants must be returned within a 14 working day time-frame and we will require clear, photographic evidence of the issues you have with your order, like the quantity or any excessive damages to the plant. Our customers are always urged that slight damages to the plants due to delivery are normal and will not harm the health of the plant or its survival rate, providing you are caring for it adequately. If we do not agree that the plants are significantly damaged, then you will be asked to cover the return costs if you still wish to process a return. You will be asked to cover this cost also if you have purchased by error, over-brought or no longer require the plants.
IMPORTANT: We cannot accept any returns if you have already planted the products. The action of removing the plants once the customer has planted them then can risk damaging the product and impact the Harrod Outdoors quality as it can become contaminated with the new soil. If you do wish to make a return, then please keep your plants within their root balls or containers and ensure they are still being watered and cared for.
Please see the right to terminate your contact and return policy in our Terms and Conditions below:
1 ) The customer has the right to end the contract of trade with Harrod Outdoors if:
a) The customer wants to terminate the order due to lack of product availability at the fault of the team at Harrod Outdoors.
b) A product has been delayed in delivery 14 working days past the expected delivery date.
The contract can be terminated by contacting the team at Harrod Outdoors by email or telephone, please be aware that charges will be incurred for the cost of our third-party delivery service to collect any unwanted products.
2) The return can be accepted and processed by the team at Harrods Outdoor if:
a) Photographic evidence sent by the customer within a 2-day period following delivery has been analysed and agreed that the plant is significantly damaged and not at the Harrod Outdoors quality as determined by the staff of Harrod Outdoors.
b) The team at Harrod Outdoors have been informed of any issues regarding quality or quantity within a time frame of 14 days after delivery.
After delivery has been made, the customer becomes the responsible owner of the plants and so is liable for any failure of the plants from this point.

Not Home? No Problem!
If you are not home at the time of your delivery, don’t worry! With your permission, we will instruct our trusted couriers to leave your plants in a safe place. If you have any particular requirements or a preferred safe place for your plant delivery, please ensure to leave us a note along with your order or simply give us a call.

We offer a variety of delivery types to suit the needs of most plants available on our website. Note that topiary products or plants with large root systems (such as Box, Ilex, Monkey Puzzle) may have different delivery requirements. This method includes our Small Box, Medium Box, Large Box, and Extra Large Box options, designed for plants ranging from 0cm to 200cm in height. Ideal for smaller orders, box delivery ensures that your plants arrive safely and in excellent condition.

Your plants at your chosen height are selected, fertilized, and watered to ensure they are of the best quality. They undergo thorough quality checks, confirming they are well-watered, in top-quality soil, and have passed all phytosanitary tests to meet Harrods Outdoor standards. Boxes are cut to size to ensure the plants fit comfortably, minimizing movement during transit. Plants are layered horizontally and supported with packing paper to prevent damage. Boxes are marked with “Fragile” and “Live Plants” labels to ensure careful handling.
Pallet Delivery
Our Standard Pallet delivery is perfect for medium to large orders, providing a secure and stable method for transporting a variety of plant sizes and root types.
Pallet:

Details: Applies to all root types. This is curbside delivery only.
Similar to box delivery, plants are selected, fertilized, watered, and quality-checked. Plants are lifted onto pallets using forklifts to prevent over-handling and stacked closely to minimize movement. Wrapped securely with pallet wrap, the plants are then loaded onto vehicles for delivery. Delivery drivers will contact you an hour before arrival to keep you informed.
IMPORTANT: Due to the size of our pallets and the height of the plants, our couriers use large transit vehicles. Please ensure your delivery address is accessible by these vehicles. If access is a concern, contact us immediately.
Vehicle Delivery
For very large plants and bulk orders, we offer Extra Large Van and XXL Lorry delivery options. These methods ensure safe and efficient transportation for your significant landscaping projects.

Handled by Harrods Outdoor, van delivery is used for extra-large plants. Plants undergo the same rigorous selection, fertilization, watering, and quality checks as other methods. Extra care is taken during loading to ensure plant protection. Plants are transported loose to avoid damage, minimizing risks to leaves and stems. Please ensure your delivery address is accessible by our van. If access is a concern, contact us immediately.
Collection from Our Norfolk Nursery
You can collect all orders directly from our nursery at no additional cost. Once your order is ready for pickup, we will notify you via email. To take advantage of this convenient service, simply select the ‘Collection’ option as your delivery method during checkout.
Personalised Premium Delivery
In addition to our standard curbside delivery options, you can request a van or lorry delivery with assistance from the driver to help unload your plants. This service offers a personalized touch, ensuring your plants are delivered directly by us and placed where you need them within a reasonable distance from the delivery location.
Please mention this request in your delivery order notes upon checkout or contact us directly to arrange. Upon your request, we will re-evaluate your delivery fee and inform you of the delivery time. Third-Party Deliveries
For pallet and box deliveries, we use third-party companies. Occasionally, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. Please do not schedule gardeners, contractors, or take days off work based on the estimated delivery date to avoid disappointment.

Legal Disclaimer
While we take every precaution to ensure that your plants are delivered in excellent condition, Harrods Outdoor cannot be held liable for any damage that occurs during transit. Our packaging methods are designed to provide the utmost protection; however, some minor damage, such as leaf bruising or soil disturbance, may occasionally occur. This will not affect the health or survival rate of your plants.

When you order from Harrods Outdoor, as a customer you are entering a legal contract with us under our Terms and Conditions, so it is vital that you have read, understood and agreed with the following document. By accepting your order invoice, you are confirming that you accept our Terms and Conditions of trade and we hold the right to reference this if needed.:
Harrods Outdoor has the right to end the contract of trade with the customer if:
a) There is a failure to make part or full payment on the agreed price by both parties, the customer and the team at Harrods Outdoor.
b) The delivery address is incorrect or incomplete, and therefore effects the ability to deliver the products.
c) The delivery address given is not suitable for large transit vehicles, and therefore effects the ability to deliver larger products.
d) There is a lack of availability on the agreed quantity of the product in stock, and therefore the order cannot be completed by the team at Harrods Outdoor.
All orders are subject to the Harrods Outdoor basis of trading:
a) The third-party delivery service used by Harrods Outdoor can successfully access your address given for delivery.
b) All images and measurements of plants should be taken as a guideline. Plants can vary in colour and sizes and items like pot shape or size can vary from the photos shown by the website or the team at Harrods Outdoor.
c) All orders will be confirmed via email or telephone, providing there is sufficient product availability in stock.
d) All customers will be informed immediately via email or telephone if there is an issue with the order e.g., unauthorized payment or inability to deliver the products.
All orders are subject to the Harrods Outdoor basis of pricing:
a) All customers will be informed immediately via email or telephone if there is an alteration of a product’s pricing. Customers will be asked to either confirm and accept the new pricing, or they are free to terminate the order and receive a full refund.
b) All mainstream credit cards or debit cards are accepted as methods of payment.
All orders are subject to the Harrods Outdoor basis of delivery:
a) The team at Harrods Outdoor must be contacted by the customer if the customer wishes to alter their order. This alteration will either be confirmed or denied by the team at Harrods Outdoor and we are not responsible for any delays in delivery this may incur as a result.
b) All addresses given for delivery by the customer must be correct and clear so the third party delivery service can deliver the products safely and securely. With any issues in delivery as a result of unclear delivery addresses, the customer is responsible.
c) All delivery is done so by a third-party and is at risk of delays due to reasons outside of our control like harsh weather, bank holidays and vehicle breakdown. The team at Harrods Outdoor is not liable for any of these delays.
The responsibility of the team at Harrods Outdoor:
a) All products are provided only for private and domestic use. If any products are re-sold by the customer, the team at Harrods Outdoor is not liable for any loss of profit.
