Description

Hakonechloa macra, commonly known as Japanese forest grass, is a refined ornamental grass valued for its graceful, cascading foliage and soft texture. Growth & Habit

A slow-spreading, clump-forming perennial grass typically reaching around 30–45 cm in height and 50–60 cm in spread. The growth habit is low and cascading, ideal for edging paths, softening hard landscaping, or underplanting trees and shrubs. Over time, it forms graceful drifts that suit naturalistic or woodland-style plantings.
