How to Use Jack’s Magic Compost

Before You Start

Loosen the compost by gently reworking it between your hands. This helps restore its natural texture, making it easier to handle and ensuring optimal plant growth.

For Seedlings

  1. Fill your seed trays with Jack’s Magic Traditional Compost.
  2. Lightly water the compost before sowing your seeds.
  3. Follow the seed packet instructions for proper spacing and depth.
  4. Gently cover the seeds and place the tray in a warm location, out of direct sunlight.

For Beds & Borders

  1. Dig a hole twice the size of the plant’s root ball.
  2. Position your plant in the hole, ensuring it sits at the correct depth.
  3. Fill in gaps with compost, pressing lightly around the base for support.
  4. Water thoroughly to help establish roots.

For Pots & Baskets

  1. Carefully remove your plant from its current pot, shaking off any loose compost.
  2. Place it into a new container filled with fresh Jack’s Magic Traditional Compost.
  3. Fill in any remaining space with compost and gently firm around the plant.
  4. Water well to encourage healthy root growth.
