Description
Elly Laurel
The Elly Laurel, sometimes labelled as Prunus Laurocerasus ‘Elly’, is a stunning evergreen hedging, keeping its beautiful, dark green leaves throughout the year, even through the Winter months in which they are exceptionally tough and hardy. In its flowering period of May-June, the Elly Laurel will blossom with stunning white flowers that will elevate the beauty of any garden. Similarly, to the Caucasica, the leaves are elongated and grow upright so this Laurel is a great alternative to the spreading varieties, like the Cherry Laurel, if you are short on space.
Our Elly Laurels (if preferred) will grow tall- easily over 4m in height, making them ideal for instant privacy and protection. They are easily maintained if just trimmed occasionally in the summer period and can typically grow anywhere from 30-60cm depending on factors like watering and nutrient intake, placing them into the “fast growing hedge” category. We offer you the choice of Elly Laurels in a range of sizes, meaning you can choose to affordably grow the hedging or receive it fully-grown and instantly have the benefits of its hardiness and privacy.
The Elly Laurels will make an ideal hedging option for any customers who are looking for a low maintenance hedge as they are easy to prune and are very hardy in all weather conditions, whilst holding the appearance of a well-looked after, premium hedging. The Laurel will grow in predominantly all locations, only requiring full or partial sun and ensuring that the soil is well-drained, regardless of the soil type. Our Elly Laurels is always in high demand because of their hardiness and good success rate across the country and so are sure to thrive in any garden, providing they are given the correct care.
